Mitsubishi has been the pioneer in introducing Variable Voltage Variable Frequency (VVVF) technology for elevators, fastest operational elevators in the world (Landmark Tower, Yokohama), mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records (750 m/min) and spiral escalators. It has also developed the slimmest traction machine for its ELENESSA – Machine Room Less Elevator, developed Next-Generation elevators NEXWAY and an improved Artificial Intelligence System SAI-2200 for multi-car group control operation.

Passenger Elevators
ELENESSA: – Revolutionary Machine Room less Elevators, offers improved ride comfort, freedom of layout and universal design for low rise and medium rise buildings. Reduction in system drive components and control panels enabled the development of an elevator that does not require a machine room, thus creating tremendous space and cost savings. The use of an electric motor equipped with a permanent magnet improves energy savings and riding comfort.
NexWay – These are high-speed custom-type Next Generation elevators that can be tailored to suit any building and especially for high-rise towers with capacities up to 1630 Kg at speeds ranging from 120-240 m/min.
High Speed Elevators – Takes you faster to the top. Tall buildings require faster elevators. Experience our high-speed elevators in the Al Faisaliah Center and the Kingdom Center.
Observation Elevators – A complete new experience of seeing the world through elevators. Adds beauty to the building design as well as attract passersby to the building in which they are installed.
GPS Series – Most popular in the Conventional Series (with machine room) with a capacity up to 2450 Kg at speeds up to 105 m/min, ideally suited for low and medium rise buildings.
Hospital Best Elevators: GPS B Series - Specially made for hospital application, these elevators can take loads up to 1000 kg at a maximum speed of 105 m/min.
Home Elevator: For private villas a touch of sophistication for the home, to enrich lifestyles. Our Home elevators offers a range of hall and car designs to suit individual customer tastes and needs and to ensure interior comfort.
Freight Elevators: GFM-T Series for improved Goods-Handling capability. Can carry loads up to 6000 kg at speeds up to 60 m/min. Higher capacities can also be made available depending on the requirements.
Dumbwaiters: A Light-duty Elevator that excels at Light Loads. Suited for Hotel application
private villas and hospitals, Table type and Floor type dumbwaiters are available with capacities up to
500 Kg.
Escalators
J Series – Straight or normal type escalators with an elegant design to enhance the functional beauty.
Carrying capacity up to 9000 persons/hour at a speed of 30 m/min.
Spiral – The world’s first spiral escalators delighted the public. They offer space, panoramic view of the building and elegant architectural designs in hotels and shopping malls.
Travators (Moving Walks) – Safe, Swift and Comfortable to meet Modern Pedestrian Traffic requirements. Moving walks are being increasingly used not only at train stations and airports but also at tourist attractions and in major shopping malls.
Installation
MELSA’s supervisors and technicians are specially trained in-house and overseas on the latest technologies for quality installation. Under the supervision and guidance of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation Japan, we strictly follow Mitsubishi quality standards during installation process by using advanced and specialized tools like Vibration Analysis instruments. The highly accurate response and the analysis capabilities offered by the Vibration Analysis Instrument software allows rapid identification of problem areas that enables us to take immediate corrective measures.
Maintenance
Using high precision tools during maintenance, MELSA makes the elevators’ & escalators’ operation more reliable, durable and most of all “trouble-free”. The high quality of preventive maintenance results in longer life of the units with minimum breakdowns thus ensuring the safety of the passengers at all times. Our new concept of Maintenance Information Center (MIC) System, supported by a 24-hour Call Center, ensures a faster response in case of any emergencies. The Entrapment of people in our elevators is highly negligible, justifying the reliability and safety of Mitsubishi Elevators and Escalators.
Our service network is configured to reach out to any corner of the Kingdom within a short notice. In some mega projects like King Khaled International Airport and Housing Complexes, we have set up Maintenance Offices consisting of a team of professionals for preventive and scheduled maintenance. Our commitment to after-sales service has resulted in more than 4000 units under our care through Annual Maintenance Contracts in the Kingdom.
Quality Assurance
MELSA believes it is not only important to provide quality equipment but also to provide quality installation and maintenance. When necessary, we fly in experts from Japan for assistance and quality assurance during installation, testing and commissioning as in many major projects like Al Faisaliah center and Kingdom center. Our Quality Assurance Plan also includes an “intensive maintenance program” immediately after installation, thus ensuring a trouble-free performance in the long run. Further, Field Quality Assurance (FQA) Engineers from our Works at Japan frequently visit to assess the quality of our installation and maintenance.
